Classic Stainless Steel Conical Coverplates
|
Customize your Seydel harmonica! This purchase is for a set
of the newly designed conical shaped Seydel 1847 Stainless Steel or frosted Noble coverplates. The Noble plates have a great
look and were only previously available if you purchased the $110 Seydel Noble. Now you can upgrade any 1847 model (classic,
silver), Blues Favorite, or Solist Pro with these awesome looking coverplates. The real "clincher" on this is that
they both (frosted and standard stainless) have the conical shaped coverplate very similar to the Hohner Thunderbird design.
The advantage of this is three-fold: you no longer have the wierd dimple on the bottom of the coverplate that might be uncomfortable.
Second, these will fit all low keys and will avoid that annoying 1 draw reed rattle. 3rd: The conical shape can enrichen the
tone and volume of the harmonica. This has been a secret of the Filisko guild for years and Joe recently helped Hohner design
this "fatter" looking coverplate for the Thunderbird. We only we wish we could get our hands on the Thunderbird
plates economically. Each set of purchased coverplates will also include a set of
our custom designed stainless steel male/female coverplate screws for long-term durability and a great look!
Antique Brass Seydel Session BRASS Coverplates
Have you ever tried brass harmonica coverplates? They not only look cool,
but have a fantastic tone and volume. We feel that they really make the harmonica louder. Someday Hetrick will have
some for other models. In the meantime, you can easily install these with a Seydel session steel harmonica or blues session
harmonica. Perfect for customizing your Seydel Harmonica.
NOTE:
These do NOT come with coverplate screws. You will have to use your own. We are working on
a solution to find brass coverplate screws, but no idea when that will happen!
