We have been testing our customized harmonicas with professional players for the last few years and they
have proven very successful. With a combination of highly skilled customizing and technology, we have found a way to
get the custom harps to play well, louder, and also to last longer than the typical stock harp....so you can buy a harp
every three months or play a custom harmonica that will last years. Custom harmonica methods include:
A) Detailed reedwork that includes reed polishing, custom gapping, embossing, and
an aerodynamic approach to shaping the reeds so they swing faster through the slots.
B)
Optimized/opened coverplates so the harp is louder; 1 draw reeds don't hit the coverplate.
C) Only high quality parts that enhance the look and performance of the custom
harmonica including DuPont™ Corian® combs, bamboo combs, dymondwood, custom stainless and brass screws etc.
D) Overblow setups on most keys and models of customized harmonicas.
E) Hybrid custom harmonicas that include custom low/high tuned Golden Melodies with
Seydel reeds. Not available anywhere else.
D) Beautiful tuning
with perfect octaves using a strobe tuner and a good musical ear. This is important. Perfect values on tuners don't always
make perfect tuning. It is important to play the octaves and chords to make sure they sound good on your custom harmonica.

Like most custom harmonica builders, getting backed up is just the nature of the beast. We
spend a lot of time testing them before shipping them out. BUT, what we can do is communicate. We will do my best to
touch base throughout the process to lower your anxiety level and prefer to talk on the phone so we know what you want
specifically. When you purchase a custom harmonica, you also get a one
year warranty that includes a free re-retune and clean-up (customer pays shipping).
Repair work only done on our custom harps, but we can refer you to a good tech for basic
repairs if you need them. Thanks
