Here is how it works: You
can place cover plates, corian combs, acrylic combs, plastic combs, and brass or steel reedplates in the cleaner. It is uses
gentle soundwaves to break off the "crud" on your harmonica parts. You use with warm water and a little vinegar
or dishwasher soap. You can select the timing cycle - minimum 3 minutes. Stainless steel pan, cleaning basket included. This
is a great tool to prevent yourself from re-infecting yourself with a cold, getting rid of fowl tastes in your harps and also
eliminating build up that will make your reeds stick. One year warranty from manufacturer. You will be amazed by the results. Note:
DO NOT PUT Dymonwood, Bamboo or other wood combs in the cleaner. Please rinse well after washing. Cleaner uses high frequency sound waves to agitate
in a liquid. Cavitation bubbles induced by the agitation act on contaminants adhering to substrates like metals, plastics,
glass, rubber, and ceramics. This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses. The intention is to thoroughly
remove all traces of contamination tightly adhering or embedded onto solid surfaces. Note: It will not completely remove rust
and other corrosion. You may want to pre-scrub rusty parts with a dremel before washing.

tool because it is impossible to bend with a single reedplate! This helps prevent tuning the reed flat.

6. Shim Stock
Shim stock is thin sheets of metal that can be used to work on reeds. You can
use them to clear burrs when embossing, you can use them to re-align reeds, and it also helps to shape reeds. Our shim
stock comes in two pieces: .001 thickness and .002. The two pieces can be cut into several small sections that will last you
quite a while. This is a must have for building that custom harmonica and embossing reed slots properly.

Tuners are excellent, inexpensive tools that will allow you to tune harmonica accurately. I also use them for new
students when they are practicing the scales. The tuner tells them what note they are playing, making it much easier to follow
the scale. We like this one because the needle is steady and it actually shows the cents in numbers! Perfect for building

Seiko SAT800E Heavy Duty Chromatic Tuner - This is my new favorite tuner. I
have used KORG tuners for years. I sold my Peterson Strobe. There is no need to spend the money. This thing is so accurate
that I have to turn off the A/C and the ceiling fan. It shows a steady needle and the exact cents! Buy it cheap at Rockin Ron's.
9. Harmonica Reed Remover/Replacement Tools
These are hard to come by. FR Farrell made a great one, but then he died so no
longer available. The Hering Toolkit comes with a sort of OK reed remover kit (We have it), but it is not very good.
BUT your in luck! Bill Romel made an excellent reed remover/replacement tool and his wife is still selling them! I just confirmed.

10. Mini Drill Press for Harmonica
A lot of larger drill presses can be expensive. Cheaper ones wobble when you are trying to drill out a marine
band. I have also tried the dremel/drill press kit and I found it lacking. A customer recently sent me a link to a mini drill
press that is great for small work. Under 60 bucks. Links below. I have one myself and it works great! Variable speed and
no wobbling. Perfect for building a custom marine band harmonica.
